The presence of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout rocked the world in just a few weeks since its release, this game was launched on two platforms, namely PC and PS4.
With the success that this game has achieved on PC and PS4, many are wondering why Fall Guys is not available on mobile devices? And when will Fall Guys be available on other platforms such as Xbox, Android, and IOS.
Responding to this player’s request, the game’s developer, Mediatonic, revealed that the idea of bringing Fall Guys on other devices was a good idea, but at the moment they are not ready to make it happen.
One of the Fall Guys Engineers, Joe Walsh, recently appeared on Gary Whitta’s “Talk Guys” podcast. He specifically addresses why Mediatonic hasn’t brought Fall Guys on mobile, Xbox, or Switch yet.
“Right now, our real focus is on making this game the best it can be on PlayStation and PC,” said Walsh.
“We really have to build trust from the community now and make sure they believe that we support this game and make it really good.” Walsh said.
If not now then when?
Walsh further emphasized that bringing Fall Guys to mobile or other consoles is not what his team wants to do at this time. Their main goal is to focus on building relationships with the community.
In other words, they don’t want to see this game already perfect in their own eyes. They want to make sure both PS and PC platforms run Fall Guys as smoothly as possible. And if the PS and PC are perfect, then they will focus on other platforms.
