For female gamers who want to show their Valorant playing skills as well as get prizes, this weekend, Nerd Street Gamers is holding a tournament only for female players! The tournament is called FTW (For the Women) Summer Showdown.
About Valorant FTW Summer Showdown
FTW Summer Showdown is a Valorant tournament specifically for female players. The tournament, sponsored by T1 and G FUEL, will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2022.
The Valorant tournament will begin with a group stage where the top two teams for each group will advance to the playoffs. The bracket will be updated in real-time. Players will have the opportunity to choose side and tire maps.
The FTW Summer Showdown tournament has a total prize pool of $10,000. The total prize pool includes $1,000 dollars which is split between the top three players and the first winner will get a special invitation to the next tournament.
If you want to participate in this tournament, you must join Discord’s “Galorants” (Discord server for female Valorant players). You must have a team to register. Registration is completely free and the deadline is Friday, September 4, at 8:59 pm. PT (Pacific Time).
Once your team is registered, the team captain must attend a meeting on discord at 11:30 a.m. PT to start the tournament. Tournaments will run on Battlefly and captains will need a Battlefly account.
If you want to watch the tournament, you can watch it on Nerd Street Gamers’ official Twitch channel. Remember, the tournament starts Saturday afternoon Pacific time.
