FIFA 20: Volta Football, here's how to play and its rules

FIFA 20 has many of the same methods we saw in last year's game, but one of the biggest additions is Volta Football. A street version that narrows the field and involves only a handful of players. Volta Football is a dramatic change from the way the FIFA series is played.

The small size and reduced nature of the game make Volta a good choice for those not familiar with football matches, but that does not mean that it is a stroll. The mode favors certain particular styles and playing skills, but let's see everything in more detail.

Volta football games are played for three to five players each time and, depending on the set of rules you are using for a particular game, can be decided by a goal-based system or a more traditional timer.

Here's what changes compared to tradition

In the run three against three and four against four, there is no traditional goalkeeper, with the defender in the back acting instead as if he had more roles when he is not blocking the door.

The Street with Keepers option uses a wider network, traditional goalkeepers and can be played with four or five players per team.

An additional mode called "Futsal" also includes rules and formations that are more similar to traditional football, but we will focus on the road modes that distinguish Volta from the rest of FIFA 20.

Volta Football eliminates some of the mechanics and rules associated with traditional video game soccer games. There is no offside penalty, which means you can make an attacker run by all defenders before accepting a pass and scoring a goal.
