They finally managed to pass various difficult missions with ease, all thanks to their very close cooperation in taking care of each other.
But everything turned into a catastrophe on one night, a terrible night that Natalia would never forget in her entire life. That night Natalia and her group got a mission to kill a syndicate suspected of collaborating with abbys to drop
Moniyan Empire. Natalia and her group rushed to run a strategy to complete the mission quickly as they used in the previous missions. At first everything went smoothly, but in the middle of the mission a member of Natalia’s group accidentally dropped an item which caused her position to be discovered.
Seeing this, Natalia immediately tried to help her group mates, but when she was about to walk her friend shouted at her:
“Leave all this to me! Keep the plan and complete the mission!”
Hearing her partner’s screams, Natalia became indecisive. Deep down in her heart, Natalia actually wanted to save her comrade even though she might have to risk her life, but part of her said that completing the mission had a higher priority than saving her comrade who was currently in the midst of a crowd of enemies.
His legs and hands were shaking, sweat was starting to drip all over his body, his whole head now seemed to be filled with various possibilities that he couldn’t choose. With full of contradictions within herself, Natalia finally chose to leave her partner in order to complete the mission.
Shortly after, help from Moniyan Empire came, Tigreal and his troops swiftly and immediately eradicated all
abbys which exists. But unfortunately, Natalia’s partner still couldn’t be saved. Tigreal also expressed his condolences to Natalia and apologized to her for being late. But all of that was rejected by Natalia, according to her, her partner died because of Natalia’s own fault who was more concerned with the mission, all of that was purely her fault and not the fault of Tigreal’s reinforcements who were late in providing assistance.
Since that incident, Natalia has always carried out missions alone. Not only that, Natalia even began to seclude herself to the outskirts
Moniyan and away from the Church to pursue a more dangerous mission so that he could become stronger so that no more companions would die before him.
