Google has come up with a new plans. Newly, they said, that the company will monitor the health of the users through smartphones. They have announced plans to do this through the capture of the sound of the heart and the image of the eyeballs.
Greg Corrado, head of Health AI, said a unit of Alphabet INC (Google) is studying whether a smartphones microphone can be placed on the chest and can detect a heartbeat with it.
He added, "If these readings are successful, new horizons will open up. Through this, early detection of heart valve disorders can be done."
Corrado clarified, "We are not claiming that there will be a diagnosis through this. But, it can be known whether there is a higher risk through it."
It has already been reported that, Google has recorded promising results using tablet cameras in tests at the clinic. Now, the company wants to go one step more. Now, it is being investigated whether the same can be observed through the smartphone.
The Health AI team, claims that in the future, there will be a day when the common man will be able to sit in their own homes, with the help of doctors and to better understand and make decisions about the health condition. The goal of this effort is to implement it.
Yet, Google is working on other issue. Studies are being carried out on whether ultrasound screening (following a set pattern) taken by less skilled technicians through (AL) can be analyzed. Google is aiming to make more and more access to the health sector in the future.
