In a notification to those whose accounts are recently being locked, Facebook said, "Your account has been locked on March 17, 2022. I have taken this precaution to keep your account safe, where you can activate additional security measures.”

The security program has been originally designed for different groups and individuals such as human rights activists, journalists, civil servants and celebrities and Facebook recommends for all users set two factor authentication.
How to activate Facebook Protect-
Step 1: First of all, open your Facebook account.
Step 2: On the right side of the Facebook page, you will see a drop down arrow now click there.
Step 3: You will see the Settings and Privacy option, now click there and then click settings once again.
Step 4: Now, you can see the Facebook Protect option will come to your attention.
Click on the Gate Start option.
Step 5: Now, you will see a welcome screen, go there and click on the Next option.
Step 6: You can see another next option on the Facebook Protect Benefits screen. Now, click there.
In such situation, if there is any error in your account, it will be scanned by Facebook. If a weakness is detected, Facebook will give some suggestions by turning on facebook protect turn to fix it. Maybe you have been asked to choose a stronger password or turn on two factor authentication.
If you click on the Fix Now option, follow the instructions given on the facebook on the screen and complete the task of turning on facebook protect feature.
