The following are detailed steps on how to reduce the size of an MP3 file using the MP3 Quality Modifier software.
First, please download the Mp3 Quality Modifier software or from the original site, because this software is portable, so you don't need to install it, just click 2x or run as administrator. Then the application will open with a display like below, please click Add files to select the MP3 to be converted or compressed.
Select the MP3 file that you want to convert, then select Open (you can select several MP3 file items at once).
Click Preset, then select the quality you want. In this tutorial, because I only wanted to change the file size without changing the sound quality, I chose Portable. Then click Process to start converting.
After clicking Process, a process bar box will appear as below, wait until the process is complete.
So far, my friend, we have finished, MP3 files which were originally 4 MB in average size can be compressed to 3 MB, in fact we can still trick this so that the file size can be even smaller. But remember, the smaller the size of the Mp3 file, the lower the quality.
