Hi all, now we will discuss the newest tank hero named Hylos. Heroes in Mobile legends currently number 48, compared to other MOBA games this number is still relatively small, therefore Moonton will bring up the latest heroes such as the newly released Hero Hylos.
Even though it is a Hylos tank, it relies more on its skills than ordinary attacks and requires a lot of mana like a hero mage. Hylos has the form of a half horse man with an ax weapon.
The price of Hylos is 32,000 BP (Battle Points) or 599 Diamonds. In the following, we will discuss guides, skills, build items and how to use Hylos.
Hylos’ Story and Background
In the midst of the mountains north of the Land of Dawn, lived a mysterious and ancient race of centaurs. The Centaurs protect the fountain on the top of the highest mountain. It is said that the fountain can bring the dead to life.
The army of darkness constantly tried to seize the power of the fountain, but none of them managed to get it thanks to the protection of the Centaurs.
However, as time went on the Centaurs grew tired and their numbers dwindled. The army of darkness took this opportunity to reclaim the fountain.
The state of the fountain became chaotic, until the strongest Centaur named Hylos came. With his natural fury ability, he stopped the attacks of the dark forces and punished them all. Since then Hylos became a legend in the history of the Land of Dawn.
Hylos Skills
Passive Skill: Thickened Blood
Every 1 point which is obtained from items and stats, will increase Hylos’ blood 1 point. When the mana is not enough to use the skill, Hylos’ blood will be sacrificed when using the skill.
Skill 1: Law and Order
Hylos stores natural energy to lock on the target and deals 300/350/400/450/500/550 points of magic damage and stuns for 1 second.
Skill 2: Ring of Punishment
Hylos releases the Centaur’s power to summon a punishment ring, every second will deal 95/125/155/185/215/145 points of magic damage and stack Warden’s Fury.
Each Warden Fury stack will reduce the enemy’s movement speed by 6% and attack speed by 5%, the enemy will also receive 7.5%/10%/12.5%/15%/17.5%/20% more damage than Ring of Punishment.
Warden’s Fury can stack up to 10 times. The Ring of Punishment will continue to consume mana when activated.
Ultimate Skill: Glorious Pathway
Hylos creates a straight path that lasts for 6 seconds, Hylos will get 4%/4.5%/5% HP regeneration and immunity to slow effects while on the path.
Friends who are in this path will increase their movement speed by 60%/65%/70%. While enemies who try to get out of line, their movement speed will be reduced by 70%/75%/80%.
Build Items
Usually the main role of the tank is to protect the team, but unlike Hylos, apart from being a shield during battle, he can also do a lot of damage to the enemy. In addition, Hylos does not need a large magic attack to be able to kill enemies.
Like other heroes, Hylos has a special item that makes him strong. Even so, with all magic damage items of 140, the magic bonus obtained from skill 2 is only 37 points. And this skill is what allows you to get a lot of kills.
This means, if you buy a full tank item, you can still get kills. This hero is quite difficult to use, you will need a lot of mana. When using Hylos, if you have a lot of mana you will also get a lot of HP thanks to his passive skills. Here we will discuss further Hylos build items:
1. Cursed Helmet
What makes this hero a killer is if you buy a lot of items that add mana. Both skills require a lot of mana. For those who don’t know, Hylos’ skill 2 will inflict damage to the closest enemy exactly like the Cursed Helmet but is more painful.
And if you run out of mana, using your skills will reduce your HP instead of mana. That means you will need a lot of mana to be able to use skill 2 repeatedly. Maybe some people think why buy which item if you can use HP as a substitute for which? Ok I will explain why
Your passive skill: every 1 mana point received from the item and the addition of which stat, will increase Hylos’ HP by 1 point. If mana is not enough Hylos can use his HP to use skills.
This means that if you buy 600 mana enhancing items, you will not only get 600 mana, but you will also get 600 HP. That’s why you should prioritize mana enhancing items over HP boosters. You will often run out of mana later.
Another great thing about Hylos is that you can farm easily even if you are a tank hero, thanks to the help of your 2nd skill. This means you will be very dependent on mana. Or HP if you want.
2. Glowing Wand
In addition to mana enhancing items, Hylos can also be very strong with other items such as Glowing Wand items.
What’s special about this item is its unique passive effect – Scorch: burns the target for three seconds when the skill hits the enemy, dealing 2%/2.5%/3% of the target’s HP as magic damage, at least 10 points.
This item is great for adding damage to skill 2 and also for other skills. Remember that your skill 2 deals continuous damage, and the passive effect of your item will work every 3 seconds.
3. Thunder Belt
For the next item, buy a Thunder Belt. This item is perfect for Hylos. Every passive effect and stat boost from this item seems to suit Hylos. This is the item effect:
+25% magic power, +800 HP, +400 mana, +40 armor, +15 HP regen.
And the passive effect – Thunderbolt: after you use the skill, the next normal attack will deal an additional 40% damage as physical damage and slow down enemies and their surroundings for 1.5 seconds. This effect can be used once every 1.5 seconds.
This item is perfect for Hylos. If used on other heroes sometimes the additional stats are useless. But for Hylos, he could use every additional stat well, not to mention the good passive effect.
Remember that this effect will activate every time you use skill 2 or other skills on the enemy. Your 2nd skill deals damage repeatedly like a cursed helmet item.
So if you attack the enemy with a normal attack after using skill 2, it will kill the enemy faster. You will be greatly helped by the effect of this item.
4. Enchanted Talisman
The next item is the Enchanted Talisman. This item will allow you to use skills more often thanks to the effect that provides mana. Not to mention the cooldown reduction effect of 20%, 250 HP and 50 magic power.
This item will be very useful for Hylos later. Another good item for Hylos is the Cursed Helmet, but I haven’t tried it yet, you can try it yourself if you want.

Build Other Items
1. Clock of Destiny
Why Clock of Destiny? because in addition to adding magic power, this item also has a passive that adds up to 300 HP, 50 magic power, 5% magic attack and 300 mana. Remember that if mana increases by 300 where Hylos’ HP will also increase by 300. This item will make Hylos’ blood thicker, more mana and more painful skill damage.
2. Holy Aegis (Dominance Ice)
Holy Aegis or Dominance Ice serves to lower the cooldown of Hylos’s skill. Holy Aegis also provides a number of armor and Mana which makes Hylos harder to kill. The slow effect of the unique passive Holy Aegis is also very useful, it can be combined with skill 2: Ring of Punishment.
3. Magic Shoes
The best shoes for Hylos are Magic Shoes as this item in addition to increasing movement speed, can also reduce the cooldown of its skill which is quite long. However, if you often die against carry with high damage, you should replace it with Tough Boots or Warrior Boots.
4. Concentrated Energy
This item keeps Hylos from being able to live longer in battle. The spell vamp effect of 30% is very useful when Hylos is in crisis, only by using his blood skill will he recover. And because this hero is of the Strengh Magic type, he will often use skills instead of ordinary attacks.
5. Oracle
After getting enough armor, buy Oracle items to get resistance to magic attacks. The passive effect of this item is also very useful, namely healing HP by 8% HP for 4 seconds with a short cooldown. Makes you able to fight repeatedly without having to go back and forth to the fountain to refill blood.
6. Ice Queen Wand
The Ice Queen Wand item can reduce the movement speed of all enemies in large numbers. And the slow effect of 15% for 3 seconds makes it difficult for enemies to escape when they are nearby. The additional movement speed is also very useful both for escaping and chasing enemies when combined with Glorious Pathway.
Build Spell
- Execute: Deals 240 – 800 points of damage to enemy heroes (increases as level increases)
- stun: Deals 115 – 325 Magic damage to nearby enemies (increases as level increases), and stuns the target for 0.7 seconds
- Healing Spell: Increases HP 15% for nearby heroes and friends.
