Facebook has users in almost every country in the world. You have to use Messenger for Facebook chats. Meta Messenger is very popular as a messaging app. There is an official chat as well as a message with family and friends here. In that case, you have to take safety into consideration. It has added end to end encryption feature considering the safety of the user.
Enabling end to end encryption will add a security key to all of your chats. As a result, you can safely send messages on the Internet. With end to end encryption, only the person you send a message to can read the message.
With end to end encryption, it is possible to get rid of the man in the middle attack. Nowadays, this feature is the default in almost all the messaging apps, but the customer will have to bring the end to end encryption separately in Messenger.
Let's take a look at how to bring end to end encryption-
You can do it in two ways. The first method is that this feature can be enabled using vanish mode. The second is that end to end encryption can be used by enabling messenger's secret conversion feature.
To do it through vanish mode-
In vanish mode, it is possible to send a message temporarily. When you close the chat window, the chat is automatically deleted.
Step 1: First, open one of the chat conversation and swipe up to enable vanish mode.
Step 2: Then you can start using end to end encryption.
Step 3: Once that chat is closed, all chats will be deleted.
Step 4: The vanish mode can also be used on Instagram in the same way.
To do it through a secret conversation -
Messengers secret conversation also includes built in (end to end) encryption. If you chat in this mode, no chat can be read by Facebook. However, the chat will not be seen from any device other than the device from which you are chatting. However, a different hunger strike has to be conducted to view secret chats from multiple devices. However, this feature can only be used from Android, iPhone and iPad.
Step 1: Select the Edit button at the top right on the Home tab of Messenger.
Step 2: Now, bring the secret toggle.
Step 3: Now select the contact with which you want to start a secret chat.
If you want, you can bring the option to delete the message after a certain time through the timer button. Also, you can enable an active chat and tap on the (i) button at the top right and select the Go to secret conversation option under More Actions.
