A fighting game that I found accidentally when I was downloading another game on a website. Interested because the title is Soul Eater and the cover has an anime picture. Even though it’s still in Japanese, because the genre is fighting, it doesn’t matter. After all, the menus are written in English. The most important thing about this genre is the gameplay. And luckily again, this is a light game that I play on our favorite emu PPSSPP. Really good!
From what I saw from the visuals and character designs, I guess the theme in this game is similar to Bleach, which is about the god of death. With weapons that are more diverse and unique, and the cool thing about this weapon is another character figure who is either a spirit or whatever that turns into a weapon. There is a schyte, a scythe typical of the god of death, Double gun, with a strange way of holding, ninja swords and others. the characters in this game on average look unique, with weapons that are no less unique. There are even zombie characters in this game who are armed with tombstones.
In my opinion, this is a fighting game with a flexible rhythm of battle, it can be slow or fast. Some of the attacks in this game have pauses. So sometimes we have to pay attention to our timing and position when we attack. Then counter attack. Things that are quite important but also sometimes even cause disaster. Because it must be done when the conditions are really right. And we can do this counter by simply pressing the triangle or square button with the rear d-pad.
And the most important thing is the special attack that we can issue quite easily. Only with the front bottom d-pad then circle. This attack is quite a lot of HP drain and sometimes is the decisive in the fight. But as I recall, there are other special attacks that are more powerful. But it takes patience to get it out. That is when the gauge or special bar is at level 3 and is full. Just press L + R, then the coolest attack in this game will appear.
