Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is a visual novel adventure game developed by Spike Chunsoft. This game tells the story of a group of high school students who are trapped on a tropical island and are trying to leave the island.
There are several interesting characters in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. One of them is Chiaki Nanami
Chiaki Nanami (七 ), is a student of Hope’s Peak Academy Class 77-B, and a participant in the Killing School Trip featured in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. His title is Ultimate Gamer (超高 lit. High School Level Super Gamer)
Appearance
Chiaki has short light purple hair that curls slightly outward with short straight bangs. In addition, several strands of her hair were also curled inward. He wears a white clip in the shape of a spaceship from Galaga. Her appearance was even more dazzling because she had pale pink eyes.
Chiaki wears a dark gray cardigan with a symbol on the chest pocket and a button-down outfit. She also has a striped decoration at the bottom of her pale gray cardigan.
Chiaki is often seen wearing a pale pink cat-like backpack which has a white band and a white pocket at the bottom. Underneath her hoodie, she wears a white button-up shirt with black shirt lines, with a pink bow and a pale beige skirt. Chiaki also wears black high stockings and pink mary-jane style shoes with white soles.
Personality
Chiaki usually has a calm disposition, but he gets much more excited when discussing the game and concentrates hard while playing. He has a number of unusual habits, such as falling asleep while playing games and taking long pauses during conversations to think about everything he wants to say.
He can even sleep standing up and forgets to breathe while playing games. He also uses game terms and references quite often that only he himself understands.
Chiaki is known to be very calm and he once said that he never screamed. He often helps Hajime Hinata during the Class Exams and gets great marks. He can be firm and honest, sometimes even because of his honesty he forgets to take care of other people’s feelings.
In addition, Chiaki is very observant and analytical, he has no knowledge of various subjects. He admits he doesn’t understand what it’s like to be in love. He also feels a little uncomfortable around animals, the reason being that they are not easy to predict. Despite that, Chiaki can be a bit playful at times and tries to make jokes with other people.
Chiaki usually ends his sentences in a negative tone even though he actually meant to compliment someone or encourage him, such as “I think”, or “Maybe”.
There is a difference between the Human version of Chiaki and the AI Chiaki. One of the differences is that Al Chiaki is always sleepy and his speech sounds less natural.
Some of Chiaki’s behavior also seems a bit childish, especially his handwriting and drawings that are similar to that of a child. However, he was perfect in the game, he could even seem completely different in the game.
