PMPL ID Season 2 Week 2 Match Recap
The Rise of 21 Esports and Siren Esports
Meeting Group A against Group B on the first day, the battle between the 16 teams was hot from the start of the round. Not even a single team got more than 1 WWCD for the day which makes the final result not too far off. Even so, there were 2 teams that played very well in the first, namely 21 Esports and Siren Esports.
The first week was not a good week for 21 Esports by being at the bottom of the first week standings. Even though they didn’t get any WWCD, they played more stable and managed to collect 59 points.
Siren Esports, who had to settle for 20th place in the first week, managed to get third on the first day with a total of 63 points even without getting WWCD. The first day closed with the same number of points from ION Esports and MORPH Team who both got 66 points which put them in first and second place.
For ION, their achievement became the first PMPL team to collect 200 points. Meanwhile, the results obtained by MORPH increase their chances of pursuing first place.
RRQ Ryu’s Brilliant Performance
The second day, which pitted Group B against Group C, consisted of 3 of the top 4 teams in the first week, namely Bigetron RA, ION Esports, and Geek Fam.
Even so, RRQ Ryu managed to get first place on the second day after winning twice chicken dinner for a total of 81 points. Following in second place was BOOM Esports with a total of 78 points for their stable game on the second day.
Appearing very impressive at the beginning of the round, unfortunately 69 Esports failed to maintain the consistency of their performance in the last seconds of the battle. Viel and friends are in third place by collecting 74 points. ION Esports, which successfully won WWCD in the last round, is in 4th place with 62 points.
Bigetron RA, which had dominated the first week, had to settle for being in 7th place with 45 points. Meanwhile, Geek Fam is ranked 8th in the final standings with 41 points.
Domination and Geek Fam
Being the last day of the second week by presenting the battle of group A against group C, Geek Fam who are known for their aggressive game in the first week of PMPL again managed to prove themselves on the third day by being ranked first with a total of 84 points and successfully won their first WWCD in the tournament. .
Alter Ego is in second place in the third day standings with a total of 68 points. Even though they didn’t win on the third day, Bigetron RA managed to collect 63 points by successfully getting 1 WWCD.
While the fourth place was achieved by BOOM Esports with a total of 61 points by winning 2 WWCD. Bigetron RA still maintains their throne as the top global leaderboard by collecting 283 points.
Even so, they are only 2 points away from ION Esports which is in second place. While in third place is Geek Fam with a total of 238 points, followed by BOOM Esports which rose to 4th place with 236 points.
PMPL Indonesia Season 2 Grand Final Recap Ladies Tournament
In addition to holding a tournament between the 24 best PUBGM Indonesia teams, the second week also presents Grand Final PMPL Indonesia Season 2 Ladies Tournament. Bringing together 16 PUBG Mobile Indonesia ladies teams, this tournament competes for a total prize of 50 million Rupiah and ranks 1-4 to represent Indonesia in the competition PMPL 2022 Ladies SEA.
Belletron Ace appeared very dominant since the first day of being successful as a champion by collecting 139 points. Even though they only collected 1 WWCD, their consistent performance and success collected 62 kill prove they deserve to be champions. In addition to getting tickets to PMPL 2022 Ladies SEA, they also brought home a prize of 25 million rupiah.
The second place was achieved by Alter Ego Dione with a total of 132 points and received a prize of Rp. 15 million. The third place was obtained by Aerowolf Zoo with 124 points and brought a prize of Rp. 10 million.
BOOM Siren became the last team to get the last ticket to represent Indonesia with a total of 72 points. PMPL 2022 Ladies SEA will be held on 5-6 September 2022 with a total prize pool of USD 2,000.
