6. Talk to Tom Nook
Tom Nook may have a new task for you on a new calendar day. Approach him in the tent or Town Hall and ask “what should I do?” to get an idea of your next move in the game.
7. Find Fossils
Every day, fossils will be scattered on the island. Therefore, make sure to hunt for fossils on the ground and dig them using the Shovel.
If so, take the fossil to Blathers at the museum for identification. If it’s a new species, donate it. If you already have it, you can sell it with Bells. This task is quite a lucrative task!
8. Check the Store for New Items
Items at Nook’s Cranny, Nook Stop, Able Sisters, and other stores change daily. Is there something you’ve been waiting for or just want to know what’s interesting? So make sure to check all the shops every day so you can get the items you want.
9. Find and Help Wisp
At night, many ghosts will roam your island! When you approach him, his five souls will flee. Trace this spirit piece and catch it with a Net or Thin Net. When you return it to Wisp, it will give you wallpaper, a floor, or a piece of clothing.
