As a smartphone owner, it is almost certain that you will have an internet data connection. This data connection can easily be used to access information around the world. However, there are situations where you need to use the internet on a computer and you don't have an internet connection. This is where Tethering comes into play.
Tethering is the act of sharing your cellphone's mobile data connection with other devices such as a laptop or tablet by connecting it to the Internet via your cellphone's data connection. Tethering is useful when you are somewhere and don't have Wi-Fi access, but have cellular data access, and want to do things on a computer, not on a smartphone.
PDANet is an application that can share the connection between Android and PC via USB. This application is very useful when we want to tethering HTTP Injector to a PC without root access.
Then what is needed?
- Make sure you are connected to the HTTP Injector
- USB cable
- PDANet application for both devices
Steps:
First, install PDANet on both devices
On a Smartphone
Turn on USB Debugging which is usually found in the settings menu > developer options . If you have never activated developer mode, you can turn it on by going to Settings> About> Click 10x on Version Number
Open PDANet, then click USB Tether
Connect the USB cable to the PC
On the computer
Click PDANet on the hidden icon
Click Connect USB to connect it
If there is a notification "Connected!", Then congratulations you can tethering HTTP Injector on your computer without having root access.
