Port forwarding usage
Port forwarding works by connecting another Internet computer away from itself to a specific computer or service within a private local-area network (LAN).
In this particular type of residential network, nodes gain Internet access through a cable modem connected to a router or network address translator (NAT).
Host ethernet on their own network are connected to the plug or communicate via a wire. Another interface of a NAT device is configured with a public IP address. On the other hand, the computer behind the router is not visible to the Internet. Because they each communicate each cable with a private IP address.
When fixing port forwarding, the network administrator who sets up a port number for a service in a private network located on a particular type of host. This port number attendant needs to know. Mostly, port numbers of large-scale Internet services, such as port number 80 for Web Services (HTTP), are used in port forwarding, allowing common Internet services to be applied to everyone within a private network.
Typical applications are as follows.
Turning on the HTTP server for everyone publicly within a private LAN.
Allowing for secure access to private Lan via the Internet.
Allowing FTP to access the host on a private LAN from the Internet.
When used on a gateway device, a port forward with a single rule is applied to translate the destination location and port. When used on machines that are not the network's default gateway, the source address has to be replaced as the address of the translation machine, otherwise the translator will be redirected and the connection will fail.

2. REMOTE PORT FORWARDING
3. DYNAMIC PORT FORWARDING
1. LOCAL PORT FORWARDING
IS VERY COMMON WITH THE HELP OF CONNECTING A USER FROM A LOCAL COMPUTER TO ANOTHER SERVER. SAYING MEANS THE DATA CAN BE SECURELY EMBEDDED BY THE USER TO A CLIENT.
Connection to an SSH client, and through the SSH server, is sent to the server as per your wish. The SSH server is configured to redirect data from a specified port (which is local to the host that runs the SSH client) to a specified port host and port via a secure pipe.
2. REMOTE PORT FORWARDING
This form of port forwarding enables applications on the server side of a Secure Shell (SSH) connection to access services residing on the SSH accessor's side.
3. DYNAMIC PORT FORWARDING
DYNAMIC PORT FORWARDING IS USED TO PROCESS DATA TRANSMISSION OVER THE NETWORK OR THE INTERNET. IT IS USEFUL IN DETECTING NAT. THIS IS USEFUL FOR PROVIDING A RELIABLE SERVER TO THE TARGET USER. THE SETTING OF DPF IS MANUAL SO IT IS NOT USED.
