Xiaomi seems willing to further expand the Mi 9 family, making it the Mi series with more devices inside it. In fact, starting from the beginning of the year, the Chinese brand presented the Mi 9 and the Mi 9 SE. Then came the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro, which are re-ordered versions of the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro. Finally, in recent weeks, Xiaomi has announced the debut of Mi 9 Lite.
Apparently, the Lite version will not be the last and another model will debut on September 24th. According to rumors, Xiaomi will present the Mi 9 Pro in the 5G variant. At the moment, there isn't much reliable information, but some rumors are already online.
According to the leakers, the Mi 9 Pro 5G will be based on the design of Mi 9. The device will therefore keep the 6.39 inches of display and the notch drop, while on the back the three rear cameras positioned vertically will remain unchanged. It seems that Xiaomi will debut a new white color, similar to the one called "More Than White" seen on Mi A3.

The most significant changes will be within the device. In order to safely support 5G connectivity, Xiaomi has opted for the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The available RAM memory will be 12GB while the internal memory will be 512GB.
The Mi 9 Pro 5G battery will be more capacious than the standard version and will reach 4000mAh. There will also be a fast 40W recharge compared to the 27W one of the basic version. Xiaomi has already confirmed the presence of 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
